About us

SWORDE-Teppa is a UK-registered charity working in Tajikistan since 2003. Through our English & Education Centres, we bring opportunities in language learning, cultural exchange, ecology, youth, and community development to thousands of people. Independent, volunteer-driven, and community-focused, SWORDE-Teppa stands out as an organization that delivers projects with passion, transparency, and lasting impact. At the heart of our work are the SWORDE-Teppa English & Education Centres (STEECs), established in cities and districts across Khatlon Oblast with support from the British Embassy, British Council, and dedicated volunteers. These centres provide English language teaching, career support, cultural exchange, ecological education, and youth programmes. Over the years, they have become vibrant community hubs for learning, creativity, and international friendship.
